After years of people asking to purchase merchandise, and having nothing to sell, I finally created my own Michelle Rose brand of clothing, such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodie/jackets, hats, puzzles, posters & more. I'm so excited to release my cover of Solveig's Song, written by Edvard Grieg, from Henrik Ibsen's play, Peer Gynt. My dad is an immigrant from Norway, and I was excited to see the play on the shores of a Norwegian fjord, at the foot of a mountain, when I was seven. I put this video together myself, using footage and photos from past visits to Norway, where most of my family lives.

Michelle Rose has been obsessed with singing and performing her whole life! She's had classical vocal training since age six. In her late teens, she began training in Pop/R&B, opera and other styles. She began recording original songs at age 11 and has recorded over 30 songs.
Michelle Rose is currently working on a full album. Many of her songs have been collaborations with or produced by “Dr. (Matt) Fink”, from Prince's band, The Revolution. She is truly so honored to work with him, especially since The Revolution has long been one of her favorite bands.
Though many of the songs she's created are not yet available for streaming or purchase, you can hear some of them on this website, so please take a listen!
Michelle Rose planned, co-directed and starred in several award-winning music videos for her original songs. Please check them out on her music videos link! Many of her songs have also placed or won in competitions.
Michelle Rose was born in Minneapolis, just a mile from where Prince was born. In 2024, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master's Degree in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston, the top-rated contemporary music school in the world. Her Berklee undergrad degree, in which she also graduated Summa Cum Laude, emphasized Vocal Performance, Songwriting and Music Production. She is currently taking graduate-level opera courses at the University of Minnesota.
She is honored to have won awards in state, national and international talent performance competitions.
Aside from singing, she's been involved in film acting, modeling, pageants, volunteer work and public speaking. One of her greatest honors was giving a keynote speech about volunteerism, at age 14, to an audience of 19,000 teens.
A life-long volunteer, Michelle Rose is proud to have volunteered over 2,500 hours. She incorporates messages that are important to her in some of her songs. She also uses her love for singing, acting, performing and speaking to benefit multiple charities. She's been extremely involved with breast cancer awareness and has partnered closely with Susan G. Komen for nearly two decades, raising more than $70,000 for them since she began. Additionally, she has a passionate interest in helping others recognize and avoid ‘Red Flag' relationships.
