Originally meant for an anti-Yulin Fest (Chinese dog meat festival), we made it more generic because there's so much darkness in the world. This encourages positive change, love, tolerance, compassion & helping the helpless.
My best friend, Maddi Maida, was the creative mind behind the cover photo - and was the photographer! I co-wrote and recorded this at age 14, and since then, have had the misfortune of dating a guy or two who fits the subject in the song!
